Wine Guerrilla
Our family winery. Best zinfandels in Sonoma County. Make it your family wine, too!

Located in the fabulous Ferry Building in San Francisco, these guys specialize in salumi — including such hard-to-find delicacies as lardo and nduja (spreadable salami). You gotta love a company whose tagline is, “Tasty Salted Pig Parts.” Join their Salumi Society if you’ve got the chicharones.

Anson Mills
Heirloom grains, including their fabulous and famous polenta and grits. The rustic polenta integrale is to die for — but be prepared, you’ve gotta cook it for hours… just like your Italian grandma would’ve, if you had one…

Il Mercato Italiano
Just about anything Italian you could need online — with some great deals sometimes in their Sale section.

La Española Meats
All things Spanish, including their own homemade chorizos from various different regions of Spain — try the morcilla! If you live in L.A., you can visit their groovy little warehouse store in Harbor City near San Pedro and get yourself a paella pan.

Pretty much any specialty ingredient you could want. Kinda pricey. But mmm, Mangalitsa lard? Are you kidding me?

David Coffaro Winery
A good friend who makes great wines. And you can purchase futures and save money!

My Pet Chicken
The best online resource for chicken-related stuff. Great information, and you can buy baby chicks in quantities as few as three at a time, and have them shipped anywhere!

A great gourmet food source, where you can buy game, pates, cured meats, truffles and other delectable goods.

Rancho Gordo
Dried heirloom beans.

La Tienda
More good Spanish things, if you can’t find what you’re looking for from La Española above.

Spying on Chickens
Fun website sent by some cool kids in a biology program so you can see what chickens are doing when we aren’t watching them. (Which is pretty much the same thing they are doing when we are.)
