Awhile back, my friend Rachel of the fun blog Rachel’s Table dubbed me the King of the Food Snobs.
Rachel and I had been talking for some time about doing guest posts on each other’s blogs. And here was something I could write about. After all, I had to defend myself against such accusations.
So today, I redirect you from my blog to hers, for my thoughts on this dubious distinction. While you’re there, take a little time to check out Rachel’s blog — after all, she did have the insight and good taste to crown me King. Enjoy:

Fabulous post! But my question is this: does using Maldon salt mean you’re a food snob or a dismal failure as a snob for not having an assortment of more esoteric salts on the table? I speak as a Maldon salt freak, like that salt-sucking vampire in Star Trek… I also have a “salt sampler” but I don’t put it on the table.

An excellent question, I’ll have to think about it. 🙂
